Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required with Level I Trauma experience preferred and Level II Trauma experience required (>1 year)

• Previous travel experience required

• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time required

• Weekend coverage: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (can be days, evenings, or nights)

• Holiday coverage as needed (may be day, evening, or night shift)

• Floating assignments as needed

• Must be able to scrub and circulate

• Must be proficient and function independently with DaVinci Xi robot (bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot experience)

• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Must function independently in all specialties:
Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma

• EPIC charting experience heavily preferred

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• Patient ratio 1:1 for all shifts

• 18 operating rooms with daily census of 50-60 cases

• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level I Trauma Center with 593 beds and an 18-room operating suite. The facility specializes in advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgeries using DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems, and offers a full range of surgical specialties excluding open heart surgery and neurosurgery. The organization maintains high standards with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
