Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required with previous travel experience

• Must have Level I Trauma experience required and Level II Trauma experience (>1 year)

• Must have trauma and robotics experience - highly preferred thoracic and vascular experience

• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity

• Must function independently in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• Function independently in all specialties:
Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac), and Trauma

• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts

• Weekend coverage required: 3-4 weekend shifts within 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shifts)

• Holiday coverage as needed per department (day, evening, or night shifts)

• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response time

• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract

• Epic charting system experience required

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• No floating required

• Care for all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics

• Work in 18-room OR suite with daily census of 50-60 cases

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Manager interview required

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level I trauma center with a state-of-the-art 18-room operating suite handling 50-60 cases daily. The facility specializes in advanced robotic surgery using DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems, offering a full range of surgical specialties including trauma, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, and thoracic procedures. The 593-bed facility maintains high clinical standards and provides extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
