Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I trauma and robotics experience for a hospital setting in Pennsylvania.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital environment
- Responsible for patients in a Level I Trauma Center
- Proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles is preferred
- Specializes in robotic surgeries, particularly with the DaVinci Xi and DV5 robots
- Manage cases in general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urology specialties using robotics
- Schedule is 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- Required to work 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week schedule, which may include day, evening, or night shifts
- Call requirement is 2-3 calls within a 6-week period with a 30-minute callback response
- Holiday coverage as required by the department, with possible day, evening, or night shifts
- Could provide care for COVID patients if needed
- Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
- Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be accommodated
- Team prefers candidates who are skilled in both robotic scrubbing and circulating
- Candidates will be pre-screened for clinical fit and may be interviewed by management
- Active PA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Level I Trauma experience required, or at least Level II with more than 1 year of experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Proficiency with the DaVinci Xi robotic system required; bonus if also experienced with DaVinci DV5
- Experience in robotic general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urology surgery required
- Ability to independently scrub and circulate is highly preferred
