Job Details:

• Work on Tower 2, a 60-bed mixed acuity cardiac and telemetry unit

• Care for patients 18 years and older recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries and interventions

• Patient ratios: 4 patients during days, 5 patients during nights and weekends

• Float to other departments as needed including medical-surgical and emergency department hold

• Work weekends and holidays as needed

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• 12 hours of orientation required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)

• EPIC EMR experience required

• No license hits accepted

• Care for patients with cardiac diagnoses including post-operative cardiac surgery, heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome

• Work with specialized cardiac equipment including LVAD equipment, EKG machines, and external pacemakers

• Manage cardiac drips without titration, vasoactive drips, and PCA pumps

• Provide care for post-cardiac catheterization, post-MI, and telemetry monitoring patients

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
