Registered Nurse (RN) – Step Down

📍 Location: York, PA
🏥 Unit: Tower 2 – Step Down / Intermediate Care

• Night Shift: 4x12-Hour

  • Hours: 18:45 – 07:15

Tower 2 is a 60-bed mixed-acuity cardiac and telemetry step-down unit specializing in the care of adult patients (18 ) recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries and managing complex cardiac medical conditions requiring intermediate-level care.

Patient populations include:

• Post open-heart surgery

• Ventricular assist devices (VADs)

• Vascular and thoracic surgery patients

• Post-interventional cardiology procedures

• Heart failure and acute coronary syndrome

• Patients requiring step-down/intermediate care

• May care for COVID patients

• Pre-Screen Unit: Candidate reviewed by clinical team for fit

• Manager interview required

• Clinical screens sent case-by-case

• Minimum Experience: 2 years RN experience

• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)

  • ACLS (required)

• EMR: EPIC experience required
