Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Telemetry position requiring a PA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities
Work in a 60-bed mixed acuity cardiac and telemetry unit
Patient population includes adults recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries, post-interventional cardiology procedures, and those requiring intermediate care
Care provided to patients with conditions such as post open-heart surgery, ventricular assist devices, heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome
Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
Weekend and holiday work as needed
Floating may be required to other departments, including Medical-Surgical and ED hold areas
Epic EMR is used and experience is required
May provide care for COVID patients
Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed
Manager interview will be part of the selection process

Requirements
Active PA or compact RN license
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in stepdown or telemetry nursing
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Epic EMR experience required
