Job Details:

• Minimum 3 years of experience required with previous travel experience

• Level I trauma experience required, Level II trauma experience minimum (>1 year)

• Must have trauma and robotics experience required

• Highly prefer thoracic and vascular experience

• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus for DV5 DaVinci robot familiarity

• Must function independently in robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and trauma specialties

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• 3-4 weekend shifts required within a 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shift)

• 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response

• Holiday coverage per department need (day, evening, or night shift)

• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract

• Patient ratio 1:1 for all shifts

• Work with patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

• Daily census 50-60 patients in 18 operating rooms

• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)

• Clean nursing license required with no license hits accepted

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

• Manager interview required after clinical screening

This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive surgical services department featuring 18 operating rooms and serving as a Level I trauma center. The facility specializes in advanced surgical procedures including robotic surgery with DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems, and provides a full range of surgical specialties excluding cardiac and neurosurgery. The organization maintains high clinical standards and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams to ensure optimal patient care.
