Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Telemetry position requiring a PA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a 60-bed mixed acuity cardiac and telemetry unit
- Patient population includes adults recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries, post-interventional cardiology procedures, and those requiring intermediate care
- Care provided to patients with conditions such as post open-heart surgery, ventricular assist devices, heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome
- Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- Weekend and holiday work as needed
- Floating may be required to other departments, including Medical-Surgical and ED hold areas
- Epic EMR is used and experience is required
- May provide care for COVID patients
- Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
- A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed
- Manager interview will be part of the selection process
- Active PA or compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in stepdown or telemetry nursing
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Epic EMR experience required
