Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Telemetry position requiring a PA or compact RN license, ACLS/BLS certifications, and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities
• Work in a 60-bed mixed acuity cardiac and telemetry unit
• Patient population includes adults recovering from cardiac and vascular surgeries, post-interventional cardiology procedures, and those requiring intermediate care
• Care provided to patients with conditions such as post open-heart surgery, ventricular assist devices, heart failure, and acute coronary syndrome
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Weekend and holiday work as needed
• Floating may be required to other departments, including Medical-Surgical and ED hold areas
• Epic EMR is used and experience is required
• May provide care for COVID patients
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free
• A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed
• Manager interview will be part of the selection process
Requirements
• Active PA or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in stepdown or telemetry nursing
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic EMR experience required
