Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required with Level I Trauma experience required

• Previous travel experience required

• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus points for DV5 DaVinci robot experience

• Must function independently in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Level I trauma experience preferred, must have at least Level II trauma experience (>1 year)

• Must function independently in all specialties:
Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• Call requirements: 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute response time required

• Weekend coverage: 3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (can be days, evenings, or nights)

• Holiday coverage as needed (may be day, evening, or night shift)

• Floating required as needed

• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract

• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts

• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

• Daily census of 50-60 patients with 18 operating rooms

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only)

• EPIC charting system experience heavily preferred

• No license hits accepted

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 18 operating rooms and a 593-bed capacity. The facility specializes in advanced robotic surgery using DaVinci Xi and DV5 systems, offering a full range of surgical specialties excluding open heart surgery and neurosurgery. The organization maintains Level I trauma capabilities and provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
