Surgical Nurse - Robotics Specialty Location

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10-hour shifts, day schedule (07:00 - 17:30). Weekend shifts required: 3-4 weekends within a 6-week matrix. Call requirements include 2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time.

The Surgical Nurse will work within a pre-screen unit, reviewing candidates to determine clinical fit, and will be part of a team that operates proficiently with Da Vinci Xi and DV5 robotic systems across various specialties, including robotics, general, gynecology, thoracic, urology, and bariatrics.

• Scrub and circulate surgeries in various specialties.
• Function independently without the need for refresher training in required areas.
• Care for COVID patients as needed.
• Participate in the assessment and clinical screening process for nursing candidates.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical nursing role.
• Level I Trauma experience preferred; a minimum of Level II trauma experience required.
• Proficient with the Da Vinci Xi robot and familiar with the DV5 robot.
• Experience in robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties.
• AHA or ARC certification required; no NCCT accepted.
