Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotation, brake inspections, and scheduled service appointments.
• Ensure all vehicles stay compliant with state emissions testing requirements
  , monitoring due dates, and scheduling appointments accordingly.
• Verify that vehicle insurance, registration, and inspection documents are accurate and up to date for all fleet vehicles.
• Maintain and review monthly mileage logs for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation of vehicle usage.
• Conduct routine inclement weather readiness checks
  , ensuring vehicles and facilities have necessary seasonal supplies (e.g., ice melt, shovels, wiper fluid, emergency kits).

• Assist with the coordination of vehicle maintenance and emissions scheduling for all fleet vehicles.
• Monitor insurance documentation for all vehicles and report lapses or renewal needs immediately.
• Maintain a monthly log review system to ensure accurate tracking of vehicle mileage and usage.
• Support seasonal and inclement weather preparedness by maintaining an inventory of required supplies and equipment.
