Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with alternating days off

• 1-2 call days per week with 30-minute response time required

• Work every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 4:30 PM until Monday 6:00 AM)

• Holiday coverage as needed - expected to work at least 1 major holiday

• Floating required as needed

• Open heart experience required

• Scrub experience required

• Minimum 2 years CVOR experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

• EPIC experience required

• Skills include:
Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Cell saver, Administration of blood & blood products, Fire Safety, Infection control, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Wound Management

• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed

• Clean RN license required - no license hits accepted

• AHA or ARC certifications only

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours to complete)

• Tobacco and fragrance free facility

• Manager interview required
