Job Details:

• 2 years minimum experience required with previous travel experience preferred

• Level I trauma experience required, Level II trauma experience minimum (>1 year)

• Must have trauma and robotics experience (REQUIRED)

• Highly prefer thoracic and vascular experience

• Maximum 7-day requested time off per contract

• 3-4 weekend shifts required within a 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shifts)

• Holiday coverage per department need (day, evening, or night shifts)

• 2-3 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response

• Must be proficient with DaVinci Xi robot and bonus for DaVinci 5 familiarity

• Must function independently in robotics for general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties

• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate

• Must function independently in all specialties: robotics, orthopedics, general, GYN, urology, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, vascular, thoracic (excluding cardiac), and trauma

• Epic charting system experience heavily preferred

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only)

• Clean Pennsylvania nursing license required (no license hits accepted)

• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility

• 6-8 weekend shifts per 13-week contract

• Patient ratio of 1:1

• No floating required

• Pre-start modules required (5-6 hours, billable)

This major healthcare facility operates a comprehensive Level I trauma center with an 18-room operating department serving a 593-bed hospital. The facility provides advanced surgical services across multiple specialties including robotics, trauma, orthopedics, and vascular procedures, with state-of-the-art equipment including DaVinci robotic surgical systems. The organization maintains high clinical standards and offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
