Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator Responsibilities:
Develop and implement educational programs and training initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff
Collaborate with facility leaders, department managers, and nursing staff to identify educational needs and develop targeted training solutions
Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and in-services to address various topics, including patient care, infection control, and staff development
Conduct needs assessments, evaluate program effectiveness, and make recommendations for future program development
Provide mentorship and coaching to new employees and assist in the onboarding process
Maintain accurate records of educational programs, training outcomes, and staff evaluations
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nursing education and patient care
Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator Requirements:
Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar educational or training role
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
