Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement educational programs and training initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff

• Collaborate with facility leaders, department managers, and nursing staff to identify educational needs and develop targeted training solutions

• Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and in-services to address various topics, including patient care, infection control, and staff development

• Conduct needs assessments, evaluate program effectiveness, and make recommendations for future program development

• Provide mentorship and coaching to new employees and assist in the onboarding process

• Maintain accurate records of educational programs, training outcomes, and staff evaluations

• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in nursing education and patient care

Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Development Coordinator Requirements:

• Current registered nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Pennsylvania

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar educational or training role

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
