Hotel General Manager

Be part of something exciting from the ground up! We're seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the opening and operations of a brand-new Fairfield by Marriott in York, NE. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with Marriott brand experience and a proven track record in new hotel openings.

The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations—including staffing, training, sales and marketing, financial management, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance—to ensure the hotel's successful debut and long‑term profitability.

Marriott experience preferred.

• Lead all pre‑opening efforts, including vendor coordination, system setup, brand certification, hiring, and training of staff.
• Ensure the hotel achieves a successful opening in full compliance with Marriott standards, local regulations, and company objectives.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to drive occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall guest satisfaction.
• Build and maintain a high‑performance team culture focused on service excellence, accountability, and brand loyalty.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization to meet ownership and corporate goals.
• Partner with Marriott support teams to ensure brand consistency and participate in required training, audits, and programs.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and key demand drivers.
• Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores (GSS) and ensure operational readiness for brand QA inspections.

Pay range: $60,000 - $75,000
