Software Integration Engineer

Tier 4 Group is seeking a Software Engineer to support a major long‑term SAP integration project that will modernize our backend systems. You’ll build the APIs and connections that tie our new SAP environment to apps across the business. This position will work remotely, but the preference is for regionally based candidates who can occasionally drive on‑site when necessary.

• Build and deploy RESTful API integrations between internal apps and SAP
• Work with internal teams + external SAP partners to design technical solutions
• Analyze legacy PHP/Laravel systems to map data flows and integration needs
• Write clean, reliable code and participate in code reviews
• Support and maintain legacy PHP apps during the transition
• Troubleshoot API, data, and performance issues

• 3–5+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands‑on API and integration experience
• Knowledge of MySQL/MS SQL
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, Java, C#, or similar
• Experience with large‑scale integrations or migrations
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP BTP
• PHP/Laravel experience
