• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks (February 2, 2026 – March 30, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 am – 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm – 7:30 am)
• Call Requirement: No call required
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010

• Active RN license (Maine RN or compact state RN license accepted)
• Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience (Med/Surg RN)
• Telemetry experience preferred (telemetry nursing)
• Flu vaccine required (per Maine state regulations)

• Provide high-quality patient care to adult and orthopedic patients on the Medical Surgical unit
• Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition using clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members—physicians, therapists, case managers—to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Provide patient and family education, support, and discharge planning
• Participate in unit initiatives for patient safety, infection prevention, and quality improvement
