Job Description
American Traveler seeks an experienced Operating Room RN with strong orthopedic experience and an active ME or compact RN license.
Responsibilities- Work in the operating room of a hospital setting
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Thursday with 4 nine-hour shifts from 6:45 am to 4:15 pm
- Call responsibilities are required
- Circulating and scrub duties may be assigned
- Focus on orthopedic surgical cases
- Primary focus is working with orthopedic cases in the OR
- Candidates must be able to fulfill call responsibilities as scheduled
- Effective communication skills are important for successful team collaboration
- Active ME or compact RN license
- Minimum of 5 years of operating room nursing experience
- Strong orthopedic experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
- Experience with both circulating and scrub roles
