Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering hospital in York, Maine. As an MRI tech, you’ll use advanced imaging technology to provide high‑quality diagnostic scans that help physicians accurately diagnose and treat patients.
Qualifications- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT, ARMRIT, or CAMRT registered
- Phillips MRI Systems experience
- Current state license (if applicable)
- BLS certification required
- 2 years of recent MRI tech experience in a hospital or imaging center
- Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient care skills
- $1,512 – $1,678 per week
- Hospital setting, 13‑week contract with possibility to extend
- Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and imaging protocols
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate positioning during scans
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, reporting any technical issues
- Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality
- Maintain patient records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
- Follow all safety procedures related to magnetic fields and contrast administration
