3 - 13 hour day shifts - Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday; 6:30 am to 7:00 pm; variable shift might be required due to census.

Certs: BLS, ARRT(MRI)

Job-specific duties include, but are not limited to:

· Performs procedures for MRI (using and building protocols)

· Screens patient for any contraindications pertaining to exam and to follow any necessary Safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols

· Interviews patient to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures to address patient concerns and exhibits a high degree of tact, courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors

· Educates patient on procedures and answer any questions

· Ensures patient and staff safety, including explaining safety protocol, requesting removal of hazardous metal objects, and alerting staff of danger or carrying metal around magnet

· Monitors patients at all times, visually and verbally

· Operates other equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care

· Maintains a clean and orderly environment for promoting good safety habits for patients and coworkers

· Maintains and reports on equipment status

· Helps monitor inventory

· Perform other related duties as necessary
