Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work full-time 36 hours per week on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday

• 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• Variable shifts may be required based on census

• Holiday coverage provided through call system and may be asked to assist

• Must be influenza vaccinated as required by State of Maine unless medical exemption is provided

• Perform MRI procedures using and building protocols

• Screen patients for contraindications and follow ACR and facility safety requirements

• Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns with tact and courtesy

• Educate patients on procedures and answer questions

• Ensure patient and staff safety including explaining safety protocols and requesting removal of hazardous metal objects

• Monitor patients visually and verbally at all times

• Operate equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care

• Maintain clean and orderly environment promoting safety

• Monitor and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory

• Provide care appropriate to geriatric, pediatric, and general population patients

• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

• Associates degree or certificate from two-year college, university, or certificate program required

• ARRT registration required

• BCLS certification must be obtained within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter
