This is a 13-week contract position.

Full-time, 36 hours;
Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday; 12-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm. Variable shifts may be required due to census.

We are currently seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to provide quality patient care while performing MRI procedures. The successful candidate will ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, maintain equipment, and collaborate effectively with healthcare team members.

• Perform MRI procedures by using and developing protocols.
• Screen patients for contraindications and ensure adherence to safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols.
• Explain MRI procedures to patients, addressing their concerns with tact and courtesy.
• Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions they may have.
• Ensure safety by explaining protocols and managing hazardous materials around the MRI unit.
• Monitor patients visually and verbally throughout the imaging process.
• Operate additional equipment necessary for patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and coworkers.
• Monitor equipment status and assist with inventory management.

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited two-year college or program.
• ARRT registration required.
• BCLS certification must be obtained within 4 months of hire and maintained thereafter.
