Moore Norman Technology Center is seeking an experienced Avionics professional to serve as an Adjunct Instructor and assist with curriculum development aligned with FAA standards and industry best practices. This position supports both instruction and curriculum creation to ensure students receive high-quality, aviation-relevant training.
Special Knowledge, Skill or AbilityKnowledge of aircraft electrical and electronic systems, navigation/communication systems, and avionics troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of FAA requirements relevant to avionics systems, including AC 43.13, maintenance documentation standards, and applicable sections of 14 CFR.
Ability to develop and update curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments that align with FAA standards and current industry expectations.
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to adult learners in both classroom and hands-on lab environments.
Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
ExperienceMinimum of 3–5 years of industry experience in Avionics, aircraft electrical systems, maintenance, or related fields.
Experience working with aircraft electronics, communication and navigation systems, wiring practices, and diagnostic equipment.
Prior teaching or training experience preferred.
Experience developing or revising technical curriculum is preferred.
