Northern Alliance Financial doesn't hand you a phone and a list. We hand you 3-5 pre-qualified retirement planning appointments every single week — families who already want help, generated through our weekly broadcast presence and ongoing educational seminars across Maine.

Your job isn't to find clients. It's to help them plan and, when it's the right fit, close them.

We're a retirement-focused planning firm with 9 offices across Maine and two new locations launching in Portland and Brunswick. We serve mass-affluent retirees seeking retirement income strategies, tax-efficient distributions, Roth conversions, Medicare guidance, and legacy coordination. Our investment advisory services are delivered through Foundations Investment Advisors, an SEC-registered RIA, providing you with an institutional platform with Schwab custody, Orion portfolio management, and Riskalyze risk assessment.

What

You Walk Into

3-5 warm, pre-qualified appointments per week with zero outbound prospecting. A dedicated operations team handling all Schwab account opening, funding, paperwork, and ongoing maintenance. A structured discovery-to-implementation process designed to maximize your close rate. Medical, dental, and vision coverage. Retirement plan with employer match. Paid time off and professional development support.

Compensation

An elite base salary depending on experience and production history, plus an uncapped revenue share model built to reward closers that starts day one, dollar one. Top-producing advisors in our model outearn the best doctors in the world; your income is directly in your control.

Who This Is NOT For

This isn't for advisors who need someone to teach them how to sit across from a family and earn trust. It's for proven closers who already know how to diagnose retirement needs, build actionable plans, and move prospects to implementation. If you've been buried in cold calling, chasing leads, or splitting time between prospecting and planning — and you're ready to spend your entire week doing what actually generates revenue — this is the model you've been looking for.

Required
  • Active Series 65, Series 66, CFP, or CFA designation
  • Active Life Insurance License (Maine, or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven closing track record in a client-facing retirement advisory role
  • Based in Maine or prepared for near-term relocation
Preferred
  • Experience with fixed indexed annuities and fee-based managed money
  • Familiarity with Orion, Riskalyze, or Money Guide Pro
  • Background serving mass-affluent retirees across Social Security, Medicare, and tax-aware distributions
