STA Operator; 2nd shift

Job Description

Purpose: The STA Operator performs cleaning and chemical processing on dental implants; labels, assembles and packages dental implants and abutments in a clean room environment.

• Help achieve business results, including Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Past due targets
• Perform cleaning and chemical processing of dental implants and abutments
• Assemble and package dental implants and abutments in a cleanroom environment
• Operate multiple workstations throughout the work shift
• Perform minor troubleshooting of equipment issues
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
• Work closely with peers, Team Lead, and support staff such as Engineering Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Management to resolve production related issues

• High School diploma; some college preferred.
• Must understand technical drawings.
• Understand eDHR (Electronic Device History Record).
• Understands and complies with all safety and area cleanliness policies.
• Complete all SOP Training.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment (microscope).
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
• Knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO 9001.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Must be able to lift 25lbs at a minimum.
• Have 20/20 vision with or without aid.

• Able to communicate; speak and write in English at a High School Level.
• Reading comprehension at a High School level.
• Computer literacy: basic knowledge/familiarity with PC, basic data entry, SAP a plus.

• Accurate and efficient assembly, labeling and packaging of dental abutments and implants in a clean room environment.
• Interfaces with Quality Control, Manufacturing Technicians as necessary to assure output and quality meet and exceed standards.
• Ability to work effectively with team members to achieve planned results.
• Understand and comply with FDA, QSR and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Capable of conducting all TPM (Total Production Maintenance) requirements.
• Must be able to train co-workers when needed (mentor).
• Effective communication skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

$19.00 - $27.50 per hour
