Job Description
Purpose: The STA Operator performs cleaning and chemical processing on dental implants; labels, assembles and packages dental implants and abutments in a clean room environment.
Accountabilities- Help achieve business results, including Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Past due targets
- Perform cleaning and chemical processing of dental implants and abutments
- Assemble and package dental implants and abutments in a cleanroom environment
- Operate multiple workstations throughout the work shift
- Perform minor troubleshooting of equipment issues
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Work closely with peers, Team Lead, and support staff such as Engineering Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Management to resolve production related issues
- High School diploma; some college preferred.
- Must understand technical drawings.
- Understand eDHR (Electronic Device History Record).
- Understands and complies with all safety and area cleanliness policies.
- Complete all SOP Training.
- Knowledge of inspection equipment (microscope).
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot simple equipment issues.
- Knowledge of FDA Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO 9001.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Must be able to lift 25lbs at a minimum.
- Have 20/20 vision with or without aid.
- Able to communicate; speak and write in English at a High School Level.
- Reading comprehension at a High School level.
- Computer literacy: basic knowledge/familiarity with PC, basic data entry, SAP a plus.

- Accurate and efficient assembly, labeling and packaging of dental abutments and implants in a clean room environment.
- Interfaces with Quality Control, Manufacturing Technicians as necessary to assure output and quality meet and exceed standards.
- Ability to work effectively with team members to achieve planned results.
- Understand and comply with FDA, QSR and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Capable of conducting all TPM (Total Production Maintenance) requirements.
- Must be able to train co-workers when needed (mentor).
- Effective communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
$19.00 - $27.50 per hour
