Machinist Mechanic
Full Time Hourly – Estimated pay range $21.40 to $23.40 depending on qualifications and experience
Must be at least 18 years and older
Position DescriptionAs it pertains to the physical structure, equipment attached to said structure, and property, to maintain and repair the Building’s equipment as directed by the Facility Manager under the guidance of the Sr. Mechanic. To complete assigned PM’s and repairs as capable independently, or while working as part of team. Accurately diagnosing, pricing out parts and equipment necessary for repairs. Maintaining an orderly shop, and general maintenance of work areas.
Drain clearing and water jetting as necessary. Assisting with other aspects of the department as the FM sees fit.
- Vocational/trade school degree and /or 1-3 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of trades such as equipment repair, electrical, refrigeration and HVAC
- Familiar with operation of power tools, welding, and equipment such as scissor lifts
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, Internet research engines, Big Foot, OSHA 10 Certification
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks;
Flexibility in work schedule - Naturally inquisitive with a desire to learn and develop their skill set
- Complete PM’s and repairs/projects as assigned by the FM with supervision as necessary
- Price out all repairs and maintain data logs of equipment repair history
- Shop maintenance and cleaning as necessary, drain maintenance as required
- To repair or replace a piece of equipment based off of materials cost and new item pricing
