The Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The role also includes a variety of operational duties as assigned by store management (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).

Store Management

• Greeting customers immediately with a smile and sincere greeting.
• Create a positive first impression through an energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
• Provide customers with current relevant product information.
• Provide quality fitting room service, follow up with customers in a timely manner, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and attempt to add on to the sale.
• Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer gift cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Sincerely thank all customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

• Complete all duties assigned by management satisfactorily.
• Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Work well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Follow GUESS policies and procedures 100%.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.

• Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.

• Participate in all store meetings and related functions.
• Represent a positive attitude toward merchandise and the company.
• Participate in all inventories.
• Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Physical requirements:
  
  Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina:
  Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
