Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2879) rting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $18.75 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
• Understand and show guests how to use the Target App features and offerings including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and direct guests to enroll, activate and use these features
• Assist with returns following register prompts and collaborate with Leaders as needed while adhering to Target policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers for removal
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work in a safe manner; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, DU returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Communicating effectively, including positive language and attentive to guests’ needs

• Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology

• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Comfort working in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
