Responsibilities- We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to provide strong clinical and operational leadership for our Medical/Surgical units.
- This role is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, driving quality patient care, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership for Med/Surg units on a 24-hour basis
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily nursing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Lead, mentor, and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and professional development
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and streamline care delivery
- Monitor quality metrics and lead performance improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Address staff concerns and promote a positive, supportive work culture
- Manage unit budgets, staffing levels, and resource utilization
- Active New York State RN license (required)
- BSN required;
Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred - Minimum 2 years of nursing management experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg clinical experience
- Proven leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
