Job Description:

The LPN Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing care within the skilled nursing facility. This role provides direct supervision to nursing staff, supports clinical operations, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, mentor, and support LPNs, CNAs, and other direct care staff during assigned shifts.

  • Coordinate daily staffing, assignments, and workflow to ensure adequate coverage and timely resident care.

  • Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, assessments, and documentation.

  • Monitor resident conditions, respond to changes, and communicate effectively with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

  • Conduct audits, assist with care plan development, and ensure accurate and timely charting.

  • Promote resident safety, infection control practices, and adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards.

  • Participate in training, performance evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.

  • Serve as a role model for professional conduct, teamwork, and compassionate care.

Qualifications:
  • Current and unencumbered LPN license.

  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in fast-paced environments.
