Rehabilitation Aide Receptionist

• Sets up patients using modalities and notifies Physical Therapists of patients readiness for skilled application of Physical Therapy.
• Works closely with and under the supervision of the Physical Therapist to achieve patient goals and department objectives.
• Inventories department stock and makes recommendations for replacing needed department items.
• Is responsible for care and maintenance of equipment and supplies and reports defective equipment to the Director or designee.
• Assists with clerical duties including phones, appointments, scheduling and reception.
• Addresses the ages of patients served to best achieve patient dare and communication.
• Required to use a particulate respirator (mask) when exposed to patients with suspected or know T.B.
• Takes part in department Performance Improvement projects.

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Effective communication skills (verbal and written) along with ability to multi-task. Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as electronic medical systems. Knowledge of supply chain processes preferred.
