Opportunity and Position Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Real Estate Analyst! In this role, you will provide crucial financial insights that drive our decision‑making processes. You will work closely with our asset management and investment team, managing a diverse portfolio of properties across the country. This role combines qualitative and quantitative tasks, requiring strong mathematical, writing, and analytical skills. Primary

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare financial models and forecasts to support organizational decision‑making
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the creation of the annual business plans for assets across the portfolio
  • Occasional travel to properties and conduct site tours
  • Oversee and track the implementation of capital initiatives
  • Improve operational processes and create streamlined workflows
  • Implement turnaround strategies for underperforming assets
  • Utilize AI to improve workflows and enhance reporting
Requirements
  • All candidates must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited institution, with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics or related area. Candidates must possess robust academic qualifications
  • Strong interest in the real estate and 0‑2 years of real estate finance experience
  • Strong Excel, financial modeling, and finance skills; this will be tested in the interview process
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
  • Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize, and multi‑task under pressure
  • Positive attitude and desire to take ownership of work product
Compensation and Benefits

The base pay scale for this position is $85,000 ‑ $105,000 annually. AVR’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
