Admissions Specialist, Alpha

In this position, you'll guide every family's experience from initial inquiry through enrollment, making certain that each touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, authenticity, and high standards. You'll manage day-to-day correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support sound enrollment decisions.

If you excel in dynamic, purpose-driven settings—where responsiveness, structure, and accuracy directly influence family experience and enrollment success—this hybrid opportunity combines remote flexibility with regular on-site participation in admissions activities.

• Manage and oversee the admissions inbox, providing prompt, considerate, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face-to-face)
• Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with meticulous attention to accuracy
• Attend all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, whether on campus or virtual

• Set admissions strategy or render final admissions decisions
• Function in an entirely administrative role with no direct family engagement
• Work within a slow-moving, heavily bureaucratic structure
• Prioritize relationship-building alone without rigorous follow-through and operational execution

• Experience in education, teaching, admissions, enrollment management, or a related area
• 2+ years in customer-facing roles involving admissions, enrollment, events, or similar functions
• Proven administrative and organizational capabilities; you are dependable and detail-focused
• High level of attention to detail and experience managing accurate applicant records or CRM systems
• Comfortable managing both remote responsibilities and in-person campus duties
• Able to adjust rapidly and succeed in a fast-moving, mission-focused environment
• Authorized to work in the US and available to work on-site in San Francisco, CA;
  Santa Barbara, CA; or NYC, NY

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.

Compensation: $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is weekly. Consult  for more details.
