Overview
At the direction of the Chief of Endocrinology and Metabolic Bone, the candidate will provide the usual and customary duties and responsibilities of a member of the HSS Division of Endocrinology/Metabolic Bone as a full-time employed physician with a faculty appointment, including obtaining and maintaining medical staff privileges at HSS.
The candidate will establish a practice centered around Metabolic Bone disease and Preventive Health, with the goal of identifying and addressing risk factors for poor surgical outcomes related to bone health, particularly in patients undergoing Joint Replacement, Spine, or Trauma related procedures. Visits may be in-person with some virtual visits at the discretion of the provider. The candidate will benefit from internal referrals and public access channels to grow their practice.
Additionally, it is expected that the candidate will:
ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO required
- Current Board Certification in Endocrinology
- Active medical license in NY
Preferred:
- Active tristate (CT, NJ, PA) and Florida licenses
