Ambulatory Physician – Montefiore Medical Group

The Ambulatory Physician will provide direct clinical care at MMG primary care sites. This provider will be expected to rotate to different sites on an as needed basis. This position is meant to provide primary care coverage at sites where a provider is on leave or has left the practice and the position has not been filled by a permanent replacement.

• Provide primary care coverage as directed by Regional Medical Director at specified MMG location(s). A typical schedule for the full-time role includes 2 locations per week.
• Direct clinical care for patients as a primary care physician, including the assessment, evaluation and management of patients.
• Manage patients as an attending primary care physician.
• Participate in site's clinical quality improvement/patient safety activities during days/hours at the site.

• Call coverage: assigned to coverage pool.
• Administrative responsibilities: includes Epic in basket coverage as expected for primary care providers including but not limited to forms, phone calls, results, MyChart messages, staff messages, cc'd charts.

• NYS Medical License.
• Board Eligible/Board Certification.
• Completion of US Accredited Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) Residency Program.
