Dental Hygienist

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and be knowledgeable in various aspects of dental hygiene, for a general dentist. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and promoting oral health.

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and review medical histories, including vital signs, to ensure patient safety.
• Conduct medical imaging procedures as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

• Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
