Location: City of Yonkers

Yonkers Contracting Company is seeking a qualified Payroll Administrator.

Responsibilities
  • Data entry for weekly union payroll
  • Assist in the preparation of bi-weekly non-union payroll
  • Audit payroll transactions to ensure all amounts and payment dates are accurate
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly returns (941 Federal, CT 941, NJ 927, NY 45)
  • Answer payroll-related questions from employees
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, human resources, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to maintain confidentiality and integrity
