Staff Accountant (In-Office)

Compensation: $92,000-$100,000

Yonkers, NY | Monday – Friday

Adecco is partnering with a leading wholesale produce supplier to find an experienced, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to work directly with Ownership and support all aspects of accounting operations. This is a full-time, in-office position.

• Manage the monthly financial close, ensuring all costs are accurately recorded
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Maintain the general ledger
• Reconcile bank accounts daily
• Reconcile credit card statements
• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrual schedules
• Assist with tax return preparation and annual audit support
• Identify and implement process improvements and system efficiencies
• Support management with special projects and workflow improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Hands‑on reconciliation experience (cash, capital leases, prepaids, accruals)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities
• Quick Books experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Pay Details: $44.23 to $52.88 per hour
