Quality Assurance Engineer

Department: MLCC Manufacturing Department

Reports to: Senior Engineer

Functional Relationships with: Process Engineering, Machine Engineering, Production Control members, Quality Control Team, Industrial Engineering members, Production & etc.

Position Profile:
Based in: Yishun

Successful candidate will: Provide statistical information about MLCC customer complaints for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples and provide necessary support to various departments.

• Manage internal complaints from internal stakeholders.
• Handle external customer complaints with efficiency and professionalism.
• Analyze complaints and compile statistical data, including sample size determination and acceptable error margins.
• Monitor and review quarterly complaint data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, with actionable recommendations to reduce complaints.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers.
• Managing and processing defective material returns.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years relevant experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 standards is highly desirable.
• A proactive and positive attitude, especially when facing challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experienced in 8D problem-solving methodology.
• Skilled in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
