Community Safety Officer

Community Safety Officer at Abri Group – Yeovil, Somerset, England, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time role.

We are recruiting for a new Community Safety Officer to join our friendly team in Yeovil. This role supports our regional model focused on local presence to ensure neighborhoods are safe places where people want to live. We prioritise customer safety and welfare as our number one priority.

• Respond to safeguarding issues and anti-social behaviour.
• Support victims of domestic abuse and progress legal matters through the court process.
• Proactively build relationships with colleagues across internal teams and external agencies.
• Attend multi-agency meetings as required.
• Undertake regular visits to customers in their homes and in the wider neighbourhoods (mileage paid).

• Knowledge and experience of tools and powers available to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills to manage complex safeguarding cases and support victims of domestic abuse.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
