Experienced Commercial Plumbers & Heating Maintenance Engineers Wessex ME

Wessex ME is part of the Andwis technical services group of companies based in Yeovil and North Dorset, but operating predominantly throughout South Somerset, Dorset, West Hampshire, & South Wiltshire.

Wessex ME has many years of experience of delivering building engineering services using a highly trained, directly employed workforce of over 60. Operating under approved certification for all areas of work it carries out, the company has demonstrated over many years that it can meet the ever-changing requirements of the customer.

Due to our ongoing success, we have a need to expand our existing mechanical services commercial plumbing and heating department and are therefore currently looking to fulfil the following job opportunity.

• Experienced commercial plumbers/pipe fitters with a proven track record of carrying out the installation of commercial plumbing and heating installations in new builds and refurbishments of commercial premises, such as schools, offices, public buildings, healthcare facilities, MoD bases and factories.
• All levels of experience and grades will be considered.
• Must have good planning and organisational skills, be able to read drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• City & Guilds or NVQ is preferable, but demonstrable experience and references/recommendations are acceptable.
• Must be a team player, be motivated, trustworthy and a have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and able to overcome situations.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence.
• A good knowledge of Health & Safety and ideally have a current CSCS card.
• Experience at installing Pressfit Copper & Stainless Steel, Soldered Copper, Screwed Steel, Solvent Welded Plastic Soil & Waste Pipework is the bare minimum requirement.
• Successful applicants should be based within the catchment area of South Somerset, Dorset, West Hampshire or South Wiltshire.

• Salary £37,523.20 – £41,953.60 pa, depending on experience
