InHealth sees more than 5 million patients each year and diagnostic imaging is one of the busiest services that we provide. Following the Michael Richards report, diagnostic services should be delivered with a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings. We at InHealth are partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vision, and recently have opened a number of brand new CDCs across the UK.
We are looking to recruit a Radiographer to join our team in Yeovil. This role will be cross sectional across MRI, CT and X-ray, but specifically requires strong skills in CT and X-ray.
Providing a great experience for patients attending MRI, CT and X-ray, supporting them through the process from referral to results. Running quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate. Respecting and working within patient s and service users customs, values and spiritual beliefs, making sure their views are sought and taken into account. Performing triage functions of referrals, as required.
Supporting patient bookings and ensuring patient information systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information. Completing competency assessments. Adhering to all operational procedures. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Sharing knowledge and clinical experience with the wider team to support each other s growth and development.
