You’ll be supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives within their community.
You’ll be… Encouraging
- promote independence where possible and encourage service users to achieve personal goals
- provide support to ensure the safety and wellbeing of people relying on our services
- communicate well with service users using their chosen methods to support individuality
- monitor and report any changes in health or circumstances of a service user to management
- support service users to engage in the local community from going shopping to attending events

You’ll need…
- Willingness to work towards Level 2 Diploma or above in Health & Social Care
- Good understanding of working with individuals with a learning disability and autism
- Commitment to providing quality care and support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, compassion and a motivational attitude at all times
- A responsible, dedicated and flexible approach to work
- Competent IT knowledge and computer skills
- No previous experience or qualifications are required.
