Position
Solar Electrician – Field Based covering Yeovil, Chard, Taunton, Bridgewater, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Bruton and surrounding areas.
Remuneration and Benefits£40,000 – £45,000 per annum plus Car, Healthcare, Life Assurance, bonus (8%) and holidays (28 days plus bank holidays).
OverviewWe are looking for a domestic/commercial solar electrician looking to progress their career into utility‑scale solar. The company will provide training and further development on HV systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global market‑leading renewable energy leader and become the go‑to technical expert within the team.
The company is an engineering, procurement & construction specialist within the renewables market, with major solar farm developments across the area. The core responsibility is to lead a team of technicians across various solar farm developments, support maintenance schedules, act as the technical hands‑on engineer, commission new farms and more.
Role- Lead Solar O&M Engineer
- Lead maintenance activities
- Assist with commissioning activities
- Field based – Monday to Friday
- Strong operations & maintenance electrical solar background
- Electrically qualified / time served
- Full UK driving licence
