The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major leisure development in Yeovil. You will lead the project commercially from pre-construction through to completion, reporting into senior management.

This role suits a confident commercial lead with strong main contractor experience and the ability to manage both people and process.

Key Responsibilities

* Full commercial management of the project

* Preparing and managing cost plans and budgets

* Leading subcontract procurement and negotiations

* Managing valuations, variations, and change control

* Producing accurate monthly cost/value reports

* Managing and mentoring junior commercial staff

* Final accounts and client liaison

Requirements

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

* Extensive main contractor experience

* Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish

* Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

* Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to work on site in Yeovil
