Administrator

Location:

Yeovil
Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract:

7-week temporary assignment, this could be extended for the right candidate, but that is not guaranteed.

We are currently recruiting for an Administrator to join a busy and supportive team in Yeovil on a 7-week temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and a confident telephone manner who enjoys working in a customer-focused environment and supporting a wider team.

The Role
You will provide comprehensive administrative support, assisting with customer communications, record management and general team coordination.

Key responsibilities include:

Maintaining internal systems and online portals
Contacting customers in relation to financial support matters via phone, text and email
Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal management systems
Collating information and preparing reports for management
Preparing for meetings, including booking rooms, preparing agendas and taking minutes
Processing payments and purchase orders
Managing and responding to incoming queries from a variety of channels
Liaising with internal departments and external organisations
Supporting team initiatives and projects as required

About You:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional and confident telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Good numerical skills and confidence working with data
Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
An understanding of the challenges individuals may face in the current economic climate  Knowledge of welfare or financial support processes would be advantageous, but training will be provided.
