Accounts Senior

A highly regarded and successful accountancy practice based in Yeovil has a requirement for an Accounts Senior to join their team working on wide ranging clients across varied sectors and turnovers preparing year end accounts, bookkeeping, assisting on tax, VAT and wider service provision as a key addition.

Based in Yeovil this long established and very successful accountancy practice has very wide ranging clients working with varied industry sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, up into the £millions in turnover. The firm offers the chance to work alongside other experienced, long serving staff in a very stable, low staff turnover culture.

Joining as an Accounts Senior based in the firm’s Yeovil offices you will prepare year end accounts for wider ranging clients across varying industries and turnover to encompass a spectrum of sole trader, partnerships and limited companies. You will also work on bookkeeping, VAT and Tax compliance across both personal and corporate tax. You will carve a key position within this successful firm as an ideal, long term addition to this close knit team.

For this Accounts Senior role you will have career experience developed within the accountancy practice sector, working for any of a small, medium or large independent accountancy firm/ or larger tier firm with experience preparing year end accounts, tax and providing other associated practice services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, as an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Technician or Accounts Senior.

You may hold formal qualifications (for example being AAT qualified or other qualifications), or have developed your career entirely through experience alone.
