Construction Estimator

Mo brothers is seeking a Construction Estimator to support our growing tile and flooring division in the Kingston/Ottawa region. a focus on flooring and tile solutions, the company offers a diverse range of products and services tailored to meet the specific needs and budgets of its clients. This role will focus on preparing accurate quantity take-offs, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating supplier pricing, and supporting competitive bid submissions for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. We are open to contract, part-time, or full-time arrangements, with remote or hybrid flexibility depending on experience and availability.

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with project management and leadership during pre-construction phases.

• Quantity take-offs from architectural drawings
• Reviewing project plans and specifications
• Coordinating pricing with suppliers
• Preparing cost estimates and bid submissions

• Proficiency in Construction Estimating, Quantity Take-offs, and Cost Management
• Expertise in Budgeting and financial planning for construction projects
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams and clients effectively
• Proficiency in construction-related software and tools is a plus
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirable
• More than 3 years of experience with general contractors/developers in construction estimation is preferred
• Experience in the flooring or tile industry is a strong asset
