Claims Adjuster – Credit, Political Risk & Crisis Management London Negotiable Salary  Excellent Benefits We are currently recruiting for a Claims Adjuster - Credit, Political Risk & Crisis Management, on behalf of one of the leading insurers in the Lloyd’s of London insurance market. Role Summary The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse portfolio of claims related to credit, political risk, and crisis management from initial notification through to settlement.

Key Responsibilities Independently handling claims and engaging in market calls with a variety of stakeholders. Managing relationships with underwriters, brokers, and insureds, while also providing support to senior management. Mentoring and teaching a trainee claims adjuster, sharing non-technical claims handling knowledge. Managing a caseload primarily featuring credit and political risk claims, with exposure to political violence and crisis management. Covering a broad range of territories, from Europe and the UK to emerging markets in Africa and South America.

Key Requirements Strong claims handling experience, demonstrating technical proficiency, thoroughness, and a deep understanding of policy language. Possess excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of working with diverse personalities and navigating complex opinions on high-value claims. A passion for claims, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new classes of business are essential. Experience in credit and political risk is advantageous but not essential.
